On departure to St. Croix from Los Angeles, Google Flights lists two US flights as the cheapest option. The first flight costs $333, travel time is about 11 hours and departs from Los Angeles at 6:27 am. The other flight costs $373 and the travel time is about 9 hours. The slightly more expensive flight leaves LAX a little later, at 8:25 am. Both flights were grounded in Miami.
For return flights, American offers a flight to Los Angeles departing from St. Croix at 4:27 p.m., which also has a stopover in Miami.
Although the two flights have long travel times, fares are considered to be quite low, as the cheapest possible flights to St. Croix from Los Angeles typically costs between $710 and $1,150, according to Google Flights.
Keep in mind that these fares only apply to base economy. American basic economy fares include additional fees for seat selection and checked baggage. Passengers also cannot change their flight and they will be in the last boarding group.
If you choose a seat, prices range from $8 to $72, with the cheapest seats in the back of the plane and the more expensive ones at the front. More expensive chairs also have more leg room. If you do not select a seat when completing your flight ticket, American will automatically assign a seat to you.
