Hello PlayStation Community! I’m Zane, Lead Game Designer at Floatopia. Today, we’re excited to show you the global launch trailer for a new life simulation game where you travel through a world of superpowers and meet new friends. We look forward to bringing Floatopia to the PlayStation community and joining you on your journey through the clouds.

Our story is set in a fantasy world filled with superpowers that can be obtained with just a phone call. Unfortunately, as the protagonist, you find that all the best superpowers in the world have been taken away from you, leaving you with – let’s be honest – much less impressive superpowers. This situation has led you to a dead-end job, and you feel marginalized and unappreciated. But by chance, you stumble upon a floating island, and there, you join other people with similarly “useless” superpowers. Together, you embark on a journey of healing, exploring new chapters in your lives.
This world is made of unique miniature toys with a bright, fresh, and magical art style. It feels like you’ve made each piece yourself. Here, you’ll find residents who look like figurines, houses made from milk cartons, and stations that look like they’re made from clouds. We’ve put a lot of effort into the details of this magical world, using high-quality rendering techniques, exquisite material details, and exquisite lighting… These elements come together to express the game’s unique miniature world, creating a believable and immersive experience.
In Floatopia, you can travel with your own island to explore many different fantasy worlds. We integrate fantasy elements based on different cultures and natural landscapes of each region, and plan to regularly update the game with new worlds to provide a rich and fresh experience.

We hope that in addition to traveling, you can really “live” in Floatopia. Here, you can meet residents with superpowers and unique personalities, and share the joy of becoming friends! The game also has strange flora and fauna, magical plants with superpowers, and much more. As long as you continue to explore, you will encounter countless wonders and adventures.
We want you to be creative. Our diverse themed decorations provide a high level of freedom in the game, allowing you to build an island that is uniquely yours.
We’ve designed plenty of natural opportunities at Floatopia for you to connect with strangers and build friendships. Of course, you can also invite friends over for a party and enjoy the time together!
