Bandai Namco has shared information regarding various systems in Digimon Survive, one of which is a player choice that will change the story and how Augumon will Digivolve. Players will be given choices as they progress through the game, which will determine how certain events will play out. These choices can appear in the middle of conversations with characters. Two game systems have been detailed. These are the “Free Actions” and “Search Actions” options. The “free action” will allow players to choose where they want to go and who they want to talk to within a limited time frame. “The act of seeking” is more concerned with the existence factors of Digimon Survive. This is where the player can chat with other characters and make decisions regarding important situations. These decisions will affect the story of Digimon Survive.
The “Action Freedom” option will allow players to strengthen their relationship with their colleagues. This option allows the player to freely explore the area and talk to other characters while learning about their personal affairs. In addition, players will have the opportunity to discover hidden Digimons, items, and even quest-related items by taking pictures of suspicious places. This can be done through the use of a smartphone in the game.
Digimon Survive Will release for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and PC on July 28, 2022.
