In the sales arena this year, Audible’s five weanlings to sell have commanded an average price of $51,000, more than double WinStar Farm’s advertised 2022 fee for him of $22,500.

Yoshida, a descendant of Japanese champion sire Sunday Silence, triumphed in America on both the dirt and turf and will have two weanlings on offer in Hips 6 and 71. The mare’s Eskendereya daughter, In The Mood , won the Cincinnati Trophy Stakes and was second-best in the DRF Bets Bourbonette Oaks (G3) in 2018. Catholic Boy has had one weanling filly sell in 2021 that brought $100,000. His 2022 stud fee is advertised at $20,000.

Demarchelier, the only son of leading European sire Dubawi  standing in Kentucky, is represented by one offering, Hip 102, a bay colt consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency. The sire side of his pedigree shows no less than 10 grade 1 winners in the first three dams alone. The female side of his family features 2002 Oaklawn Breeders’ Cup Stakes (G3) winner Ask Me No Secrets  and further back stakes winner In My Cap , a full  sister to grade 1 winner Trumpets Blare. The son of Dubawi, who was represented by three winners during the Breeders’ Cup World Championships, will stand at Claiborne in 2022 for a fee of $5,000.
