File size for Xenoblade Chronicles 3 series high – Destructoid
15 GB
Nintendo revealed Xenoblade Chronicles 3 file size on the game’s official listing and that’s an idiot! 15GB is what they listed, before any updates.
Recently revealed for a July release, Xenoblade Chronicles 3 will take up a big chunk of your Switch: half of the entire onboard hard drive in some cases. Naturally almost all of you upgraded at this point, and can be expected around that file size: but just in case!
As for how this happened, Xenoblade Chronicles 3 file size is the largest for the main series. While the first two games (on Switch) are nearly identical, circling the 13.5GB give-or-lose mark, this one pushes a little further into 15GB territory. Start cleaning up your space now.
If we really want to get attention, Xenoblade Chronicles X (which doesn’t even have an official storefront page anymore), an often forgotten part of the series, really shakes things up. It has an amazing 10GB data packageincluding anything from speeding up load times to making things look sharper, in different aspects of the game (like walking around fields or in shops).
