Ouch! A fashion designer based in Memphis, Caila Abdul, is calling Asian dolls for haunting her after she created a custom birthday dress. Caila took to her social media to share a text exchange between her and the rapper. She even showed footage of the custom silver dress. We spoke to Caila privately for more details on the situation!
Caila is a new designer, but she admits that she does not receive any payment from “Queen Of Drill” due to not having a proper policy for receiving compensation. The designer told us the materials for the dress alone cost nearly $1,000. When asked why she didn’t take the deposit, she shared:
“I know I should have. I’m still a super new designer, and usually when people come to me or I come to them, they pay later, especially when it’s a rush.”
She also added that there was a time when she gave the dress away in exchange for a promotion. Caila revealed that the most heartbreaking thing about the situation was that her dress design was stolen.
“She (Asian Doll) stole my dress design. That makes me sadder because I’m going to give it to her. She doesn’t have to take it.”
While Asian did not respond to Caila’s requests, a stylist in New York City also called Asian out for allegedly not completing the bill more than a year ago! Gabriel Held Vintage wrote,
“Not going to say too much… but I have an incomplete bill for her from 2021. We all need to get billing info AND make sure it works before doing business.”
