Fantasy WR Leaderboard Week 15: Who Started, Sitting At The Wide Lens In Fantasy Football
We know the wide receiver is the deepest spot in fantasy football, and since the bye weeks are all in the rearview mirror, there seem to be more options than ever. That said, it’s often difficult to navigate this location with so many potential people sleeping (and busting) on the table, so our Week 15 fantasy WR chart is here to help you decide. who will start with the knockout before us.
Those with the toughest matches include DJ Moore (@ Bills), Tee Higgins (@ Broncos), Stefon Diggs (vs Panthers) and Tyreek Hill (@ Chargers). There have been a slight drop in our rankings, but they still have to start. DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett (@ Rams) are slightly tougher calls, but we still think you have to play both, regardless of the consistency issues of both this year.
WEEK 15 STANDARD RATINGS:
Midfielder | Run back | Tight ending | VND / ST | Kicker
Among the players we consider streamers (under 50% ownership in Yahoo leagues), Laquon Treadwell (vs. Texans), DeVante Parker (vs. Jets), KJ Osborn (@ Bears), Kendrick Bourne (@Colts), Jamison Crowder (@Dolphins), Marquez Valdes-Scantling (@Ravens), and Kadarius Toney and Sterling Shepard (vs Cowboys) look like the best picks in the standard leagues.
WEEK 15 PPR RANKING:
Midfielder | Run back | Wide receiver | Tight ending | VND / ST | Kicker
The Jets, Bears, Titans, Texans, Dolphins, Colts, and Ravens haven’t stopped WRs all year, and most of these receivers are attracting more consistent targets. Osborn and Crowder join new roles while Adam Thielen (ankle) and Elijah Moore (quad) sit out, and DeVante Parker has been productive in his first game back from a hamstring injury. The Giants’ players are somewhat healthy, but the match will result in more throw-ins than usual. The Patriots attack could do the exact opposite of the previous game and have considerable success. You could also try Nick Westbrook-Ihkine (@Steelers), but and now that Julio Jones is back, there may not be much work for him in the Titans’ passing game.
However, we know there are plenty of players on the bubble that are just starting to own in over 50% of the leagues, like Chase Claypool (vs Titans), Darnell Mooney and Allen Robinson (vs Vikings), Michael Gallup (vs. @ Giant), and Christian Kirk (@ Lion) is always difficult to accept. This week, however, those recipients will be on the “launch” side of things. As always, some games are safer than others, but they are all worth the risk depending on your situation.
On the other hand, Robby Anderson (@ Bills), Cole Beasley and Gabriel Davis (against the Panthers), Michael Pittman Jr. (against the Patriots), Josh Reynolds and Amon-Ra St. Brown (vs Cardinals) and Courtland Sutton can’t be trusted (vs. Bengals) this week. Beasley and Davis always had the edge, but the game was tough and Buffalo had plenty of options. Sutton is an idiot regardless of whether the Broncos are winning big, losing big, or in a closing game. The others are committing a low pass offense, so their floor score is particularly low.
Don’t get overwhelmed by start-up or interim decisions you haven’t had to make for weeks. Right now, we have a long data season to continue, so when deciding on a flexible position, trust recent numbers and trends. Depending on your guess, you may want to choose high ceilings versus high floors, so find out what you need and go from there. There are many options.
Note: We’ll be updating these WR charts as needed throughout the week, so check back for the latest changes and analysis.
