It’s been a traumatic week that we didn’t even know we were waiting for. Therefore, there is no shortage of legitimate options for top Week 13 free shipping and more free agents. With up to 12 – yes, 12 – potential “high volume” RBs available in over 50 percent of tournaments (Chuba Hubbard, Sony Michel, Alexander Mattison, Jamaal Williams, Boston Scott, Tony Jones Jr., Tevin Coleman, Matt Breida, Dontrell Hilliard, D’Onta Foreman, David Johnson, Rex Burkhead), the statements will fly. On top of those running backwards, some interesting QBs and WRs, including Taysom Hill and Curtis Samuel, is sitting on a lot of strings, so there will be plenty of free agents to target after The waivers will be removed around 4-5 a.m. ET on Wednesday mornings during Yahoo and ESPN tournaments.

This is absolutely a week where you will see some of the top waiver requests in use. Mattison and Hubbard will almost certainly garner the top two claims, but as we discuss below, Hubbard can be scammers’ gold. Either way, both are starting to work again in the near future, and that brings in a lot of fantasy world currency. It’s also why Michel, Williams, Coleman, and even Scott could get a worthwhile waiver this week. You may also see claims made for Hill (though probably not) and one or two of the top WRs.
With so many people ready for claims, at least in 12-team tournaments, that opens the door for those who currently have low claims to move forward quickly. You may also need/want to rerun, but if you go to the fifth option you have to ask yourself if you should keep your claim, jump to the top of the operative order and pick up only one people like Burkhead, who are being touched to the starting level but don’t have the imaginary heat right now. If you can live with that, hold back your claim and wait for next week’s inevitable march of trauma. Definitely retain the claims for QB, WR, and TE, as there are always match-based streaming options available.
Bottom line: Do what makes sense for your team and your situation. If this is truly a “must-win week,” then do what is necessary. If you’re playing in Weeks 15-17, then adjust accordingly.

Top fantasy football exemptions for Week 13
Unless otherwise noted, only players who own less than 50% of Yahoo leagues will be considered.
Chuba Hubbard, RB, Panthers. With Christian McCaffrey (ankle) coming out of the year, Hubbard will be one of the top brands this week. In McCaffrey’s absence from Weeks 4-8, Hubbard averaged 20.4 touchdowns (2.6 hits) and totaled 83.4 yards while scoring a total of two TDs. Those stats are clearly not at CMC level, but they’re solid enough to keep him on RB2/flex for most of the week. However, his remaining schedule is pretty brutal, with his only “favorable” game coming up against Atlanta after Carolina’s Week 13 goodbye. Hubbard’s fantasy playoff enemies include Buffalo, Tampa and New Orleans – all three of which are among the top five defenses. With Ameer Abdullah stealing more snaps and targets, it’s entirely possible that Hubbard is the scammer’s gold for the rest of the way, but he still needs to be hunted in every format if he has his potential.
Taysom Hill, QB, Saints. We raised the alarm for Hill last week, but he wasn’t ready to start because of some nagging injuries. After another mediocre performance by Trevor Siemian, Hill was tipped to join the first-team reps in Saints practice, which is a strong indicator he will be central on Thursday in game against Dallas. If he starts the rest of the run, he will likely be around QB10-15 like he was last year in his starting time. Hill has a high tier because of his quick dash, and New Orleans’ creative offensive ability allows him to do just enough as a passerby to consistently reach the 20-point plateau. Games against the Cowboys, Jets, Bucs and Dolphins over the next four weeks will see him lead several fantasy teams to playoff glory.

Matt Breida, RB, Invoices. Breida won 11 touchdowns in 55 yards and one encounter against New Orleans in Week 12, and though he had six fewer touchdowns than Devin Singletary (and his TD came in junk time). ), it’s hard to deny that Breida looks like the best back on the Payments list. Zack Moss is a healthy scratch, so that sheds light on Breida’s prospects even further. He’s always explosive and has plenty of backflips in one of the NFL’s best fouls. It’s unlikely he’ll return as “the leader,” but his receptiveness will allow him to stay engaged regardless of the game scenario. He’ll have a tough road to success with the Pats, Bucs, Panthers and Pats on the deck in the next four games, but he’s still worth adding to his increased playtime.

Curtis Samuel, WR, Washington. Samuel did nothing on Monday when he returned from a nagging groin injury, but his mere return will interest those with the imagination. With JD McKissic injured, Samuel, who has worked as a mixed runner/recipient in the past, could be pushed into a bigger role as soon as next week. At the very least, he should be on the watch list for emerging offenses.
Sony Michel, RB, Ram. News broke on Monday that Darrell Henderson suffered a quadriceps strain in Week 12, which means Michel will likely start Week 13 against the Jaguars. At this point, it’s hard to tell if Henderson would be a good fit, but Henderson has never been a quick healer, so Michel needs to be picked up if he’s available.
