UPDATE: Good news. MTO News has confirmed that Jaida was found safe today in Los Angeles.
Jaida Benjamin, 27, the actress who played Kelly on the Netflix sitcom Family Reunion has been missing since she was last seen in Los Angeles on February 19, MTO News has confirmed following a statement released announcement from her mother and manager JoCinda Benjamin.
And despite the police’s search efforts, it remains a mystery – no one knows exactly WHAT happened to Jaida or WHEN she’s still alive.
Just weeks before her disappearance, Jaida’s mother JoCinda shared a strangely accurate post about mothers who have lost their children. She appears to have posted in response to Regina King’s horrific loss of her son.

JoCinda posted a quote from an unknown source that said: “I can’t think of anyone stronger than a mother who has lost a child and is still breathing”.
“Losing a child mentally, physically or emotionally is too much for any parent to bear.”
Less than two weeks later, JoCinda shared a picture of herself and Jaida smiling together and announced that the star couple would temporarily leave the entertainment industry.
“In light of the recent tragic news of multiple suicides, combined with concerns about our mental health, Jaida and I have decided to take a break from the entertainment industry,” the post read.
Days later, Jaida goes missing.
MTO News confirmed that Jaida, who plays Kelly in Family Reunion, was last seen on Ventura Avenue, in the San Fernando Valley. If anyone knows of her whereabouts, please contact the Los Angeles Police Department.
