In fact, when a Massachusetts family spotted a small wolf dog alone on the side of the road, they thought it was a German Shepherd. But when they looked a little closer at the puppy they found, they realized there was something unusual about this little guy.

After finding the wolf “wandering and suffering” and mistaking it for a lost puppy, New England Wildlife Center reported the family contacted them for help. Later, the puppy was identified as an oriental coyote.

Now the wolf pup is grown and ready to go out into the world!
“After six long months of rehabilitation, this dog has made amazing strides. He is wild in all accounts and is showing all the correct behaviors and skills.
“Weighing just over 40 pounds, he has a healthy appetite and is increasingly active in the large outdoor enclosure.”
Both the male and his adoptive sister have been returned to the wild as an “inseparable” pair, the center said: “Because they have each other as companions, they are still wild and tired of being together.” People.”
