The family of a man who died saving his fiancée at Astroworld is now suing the rapper.
The suit states that Mirza Danish Baig’s tragic end was “concealable and brazenly flirtatious.” It also said that the defendants “placed more value on their financial profit than the safety of concertgoers, who used the money to pocket the defendants.”

The lawsuit states: “The Dane is a beloved son, brother, and life partner. He died to save the love of his life, Olivia.” “Olivia and Basil will spend the rest of their lives living with the memory of the Danes fighting to save Olivia’s life before losing hers. Over time, Olivia and Basil’s physical injuries can become possible. But Baig’s and Olivia will never fully recover from the pain of learning that their son, brother, and partner died a very brave and terrifying death.”
The Baig family is currently seeking damages in excess of $1,000,000 and damages of no less than $200,000,000.
