Fake Covid-19 vaccine card: Nurse accused of making fake Covid-19 vaccine card

Tammy McDonald, 53, is accused of making fake vaccine cards on June 20 and July 28, allegedly filling out vaccine cards for people she knows have not been vaccinated against Covid-19. She was then charged with lying to federal agents when questioned about the matter in October.

“She provided the CDC Covid-19 Immunization Record Cards to individuals and personally filled in the individuals’ identities and batch numbers for vaccines she knew were not given to those who were not vaccinated. that individual,” the indictment said.

McDonald was charged with two counts of producing fraudulent identification and one count of lying to federal investigators, according to the indictment. She was arranged Friday and granted a $10,000 fine, and has pleaded not guilty to all charges, according to a press release from the United States Attorney’s Office.

Acting US Attorney DeHart said in a statement: “While the indictment speaks for itself, the creation of fake or fraudulent vaccine tags for unvaccinated people poses a direct threat to the public. to the health of the people of South Carolina”.

According to the US Attorney’s Office, McDonald’s faces 15 years in prison each for making fraudulent Covid-19 vaccination cards and five years in prison for lying to federal investigators.
