Sixty-nine blue-blooded futuristic racehorses have arrived in Dubai ahead of the first sale of the Goffs Dubai Breeze-Up, which kicks off on March 23.
The 2-year-olds come from many of the leading carriers in Ireland and the UK, and the broods represented include American pharoah , Interrogation, Curlin , dark Angel , Dubai , Outperform and Excel , Frankel , Gunman , Into Mischief , Invincible spirit , Evenly , Zodiac , King , Lope de Vega , Mehmas , More than ready , Thunder Night , Pioneerof the Nile, Display , Siyouni , Starsangledbanner , Uncle Mo and Wootton Bassett .
The name that can jump off the page immediately is the name of Polar River heroine of both UAE’s One Thousand Guineas and UAE Oaks sponsored by Emirates (G3) in 2016. Her second pony, an American Pharoah pony, is cataloged as Lot 36.
Peeping Fawn was a great servant on the racecourse for Aidan O’Brien and owner Coolmore, collecting Darley Irish Oaks (G1) from her four in-flight victories. She is represented by Lot 31, a pony of Daiwa Major .

“Things have gone very well and all the horses seem to have settled in a nice way,” he said. “The show was successful in Dubai and this guy is a nice guy, so we hope to sell well.”
Goffs international client relations consultant, Tom Taaffe, in Dubai to organize the sale commented: “All the horses have arrived and are settled at Nofa Quarantine, where it is very nice and quiet. We are using the first two days of light exercise on the Tapeta track ahead of Tuesday’s breeze. So far everything has been going well and we are very happy. We have received a lot of support. interest from buyers and look forward to seeing everyone here on Tuesday and Wednesday.”
The race takes place on Tuesday, March 22 at 7:45 a.m. (local time) on the training track, and the sale takes place on Wednesday, March 23, starting at 5 p.m. during the Parade Circuit race at Meydan Racecourse.
