You won’t have to wait too long to see and hear what Mario plays on the big screen. The New York Comic Con announced that the first trailer for a new video from Nintendo and Illumination Studios Super Mario Bros. The movie will be released at the event. This will be the first time the public can see the movie scheduled to premiere in April 2023.

The Super Mario Bros. The premiere of the movie teaser will take place on the first day of New York Comic Con 2022, at 16:00 ET (about 13:00 PT). NYCC opens on its own the same day at 10:00 ET, giving attendees a few hours to roam the show floor and see other shows and attractions.
The movie Super Mario Bros. is an animated film and is produced by Illumination Entertainment. Illumination also makes movies like I am despicable and it Henchman spin-off, Sing, Pet’s secret lifeand the adaptation of Dr. Seuss’ Satyr and Grinch. It was first announced in 2018. The first casting announcements appeared during the September 2021 broadcast of Nintendo Direct, where Mario Bros. Creator Shigeru Miyamoto has announced the first names associated with the film. Mario will be played by Amusement parkand Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris Pratt. Luigi will be played by Philadelphia star Charlie Day. Princess Peach will do Queen’s Gambit star Anya Taylor-Joy. Bowser will be played by The school of rock music and Brutal Legend Jack Black star. Charles Martinet, who has been voicing Mario since 1992, also has an unspecified role in the film.
