Evo has arrived! Twitter announced that Super Smash Bros. will not be at this year’s event. The tweet didn’t go into detail as to why, other than Nintendo not choosing to work with them for 2022. In 2021, however, Nintendo announced that it would work with them. Panda Global for licensed eSports tournaments. That circuit is expected to begin in 2022. The Evo 2022 announcement program will stream on March 8 from 5 p.m. PT / 8 p.m. ET through Evo’s Twitch channel.

Since 2007, Super Smash Bros. appeared 9 times as a standout game. There is no explanation for why it won’t appear in the notification.
Back in 2020, some companies withdrew their titles due to sexual misconduct scandal regarding President Evo. Super Smash Bros. did not appear in the Evo 2021, marking 2019 as the last year it will appear at the event.
Evo (Evolution Championship Series) is an e-sports competition focusing on fighting games. Until 2001it’s a contest dedicated to Street Fighter II Turbo and Street Fighter Alpha 2and its name is Battle by the Bay.
The Evo 2022 announcement stream will take place on March 8, 2022 on the Twitch channel. It will begin at 5 p.m. PT / 8 p.m. ET. The actual event will take place from August 5-7, 2022 in Las Vegas.
