World of Thunder took place tonight. It provides a look at several games from Thunderful, the biggest of which is New third-person co-op action game on SteamWorld. Below you’ll find that and every other game from the show geared towards PC.
SteamWorld Headhunter
SteamWorld jumps into another new genre and this time a third-person co-op action platformer. Very little is known about it at this stage, but it takes place right after the SteamWorld Dig 2 event, and it looks like it has something to do with you being able to split output. Exciting! Every game on SteamWorld so far has been great, and it’s great that they’re making another.
The Gunk
The Gunk is a third-person action adventure from the creators of SteamWorld. It takes place on a planet swamped by a corrosive goo, and as you explore, you must vacuum and craft to survive. There’s some new footage in the full Thunderful World presentation, you can watch it here at 26:26, but it’s not currently available for native embedding so the video above is from Gamescom this year. Meanwhile, the breaking news is The Gunk will premiere on December 16.
Wavetale
The old wavetale was Surprise launch on Stadia today. It’s a third-person action adventure where you play as Sigrid, a girl who can run and slide across water, with combat and combat taking place on islands and ruins. that you discover. Its movement has a lovely sense of momentum in the trailer above. It will come to PC right in 2022.
Convert
Pronounced “Tog – Ess”, Togges is a puzzle platformer in which you appear to control a roomba that can be spread, stacked, and raised by blocks. With this kit, you solve physics-based puzzles in “open levels,” with environments that include a futuristic city and “a kingdom made entirely of carrot cake.” It has a Steam page but no release date yet.
White ball
It’s understandable to refer to the games as “Limbo-like”, but what else do you call a well-lit, monochrome cinematic platformer with a pint-sized protagonist dodging traps and pushing objects. physical object? While it may not be original, White Shadows still looks impressive, with some lovely environmental designs. I was also really interested in the crowds around the main character, the bird.
It won’t be long before I can make my own appearance: White Shadows will release On steam on December 7th.
Cursed with Golf
This is my favorite out of everything shown in Thunderful World. Cursed To Golf is a side golf-like game in which a “deceased golf champion” is trapped in golf purgatory. Since purgatory, the fields contain more explosive obstacles than sand traps, and there are “cards” you can deploy, such as deploying a defenseable rocket orb to help with the journey. your to the pit. You will also encounter three spectral caddies that you can purchase items from. It sounds like a lot of fun, and the narrated trailer does a great job of explaining why.
Cursed To Golf is coming to PC in 2022.
Swordsmanship
Swordship is described by the developers as “dodge”; basically, shoot them up without firing. So a bullet hell? A bit, yes, but with its high-speed chases and side-to-side dodges, it also reminds me of those old Formula 1 Watches & Games. In this case, signs appear to indicate where an attack is imminent and you must turn or dive to avoid it. Honestly, I found the trailer hard to follow, but I like the art style. Swordship is scheduled to release in 2022.
