The country’s first fully integrated refrigerated truck fleet provider Revora launched today in Sydney.
Refrigeration manufacturer Eurocold today officially launched its local branch Revora at the Full Charged Live show. It will display its first refrigerated truck at the Brisbane Truck Show in May.
Avraam Solomon, founder and chief executive officer, said: “Revora is a completely separate and new brand for Eurocold – aimed at future-proofing the sustainability of the refrigerated transport industry.
“Revora will be Australia’s first fully integrated refrigerated truck fleet supplier.”
The company says it wants to provide not only trucks but also charging and data solutions.
Zero-emission refrigerated trucks are mainly aimed at businesses that make last-mile deliveries.
General manager Nathan Gore-Brown said: “Electric vehicles are particularly well suited for urban and stop-start tasks.
“This depends on their ability to regenerate energy through regenerative braking. Typically, the refrigerated trucking industry has a large portion of its fleet for last-mile deliveries, and that’s where electric trucks excel.
Revora developed a program that assesses a company’s suitability for electric vehicles, then offers the trucks on a long-term lease.
The truck parts will be sourced from operators in Australia and internationally, and the trucks will be assembled in Brisbane.
The company says that because companies have access to fleets of electrified vehicles, they are able to extend operating hours later into the night due to less noise congestion when compared to motorized trucks. diesel.
Electric trucks will also allow businesses to access closed docks and delivery buildings without causing unnecessary air pollution to dock workers.
