EU NetZero gets “Greenlashed” – A reckoning is taking shape – Climate Realism Agenda #115 – Are you happy with it?
Greenlash is defined as a backlash against the clean energy transition. Others, such as farmers facing restrictions, call it a return to common sense. In the European Union there was quite a strong protest movement and in Belgium the farmers won that battle.
Now it’s turning political. The New York Times recently reported. “After years of political consensus on a transition to cleaner energy, a ‘green reaction’ is beginning to emerge as prices rise and right-wing candidates gain ground.”
Dr. Benny Peiser of the Global Warming Policy Foundation has followed NetZero’s efforts for many years, and he joins us as a special guest.
We’ll cover this topic as well as take a look at the week’s crazy Climate News. Tune in LIVE to the live stream at 1 p.m. ET (noon CT) to watch the show and leave your own questions in the chat with host Anthony Watts, along with panelists H .Sterling Burnett and Linnea Lueken.
