Equinox, Mostahdaf lead the ranking of the best racehorses in the world


At the top is the Japanese star feces and British talent Mostahdaf foreign horses take the top spots in the latest edition of the Longines World Best Horse Ranking.

The top-ranked American horse belongs to Godolphin Cody’s Wish who came in at 10th after his rating went up from 119 to 122 following a 3/4 win in the Urban Handicap (G1) on June 10. He won the Churchill Downs Stakes. (G1) on May 6 during the first start of the school year for coach Bill Mott.

Repole Stable and St. Elias Stable’s up to brand and by Bruce Lunsford Art collector ranked right behind Cody’s Wish in the rankings, being in the 16th place with a 121 rating. The former raised his rating by one point with a 2 3/4 win in the Manhattan Stakes match ( G1T) June 10 at Belmont Park. Up to the Mark also won a Turf Classic (G1T) Share May 6 at Churchill Downs for coach Todd Pletcher.

The Mott-trained art collector, winner of the Pegasus World Cup Invitational Stakes (G1), most recently placed second in the May 5 Alysheba Stakes (G2) at Churchill Downs, losing weight and trailing behind happy smile but before the end of the show Western Willpower next winner of Stephen Foster Stakes (G1).

With a score of 125, Paddington is the top-ranked 3-year-old in the world, having won St James’s Palace Stakes (G1) and Coral-Eclipse (G1) in recent appearances.
