Dr. Dre’s divorce from Nicole Young has been finalized.
Breyon Prescott, CEO of Chameleon Entertainment posted a photo on Instagram of Dr. Dre smiling in a chair with balloons that read “Divorced AF” on the back.
“Hey Well, My Brother @drdre Just Told Me It’s Final!!!” he wrote in the caption. “Congratulations. Still Dre.”
Dr. Dre and his ex had been fighting over the family property. Young wants half of the money but he says they have a stipend. She also alleges that he physically abused her when they were married.
He said: “There have never been any domestic violence claims made by Nicole before or during our marriage, formally or informally.
“At no point were the police called in our marriage. I was there to oust Nicole. She testified that there were no witnesses to the alleged abuse and she admitted that she did. He never told anyone, including his mother, siblings or other family or friends, about any of the alleged abuse.”
