Donald Parham Jr. injury update: Chargers TE is carried off the field on a stretcher after hitting his head on the field
A terrifying moment occurred during the Chargers-Chiefs game on Thursday night when Los Angeles’ late first-half Donald Parham Jr was injured during a first-half game in the final quarter. He was placed on a stretcher and taken off the field.
The Chargers faced a fourth goal and goal from Kansas City 5 when Justin Herbert threw for Parham in the back of the final area. Parham appears to have caught the ball before it landed imperfectly.

Parham’s head seems rush into the field when he was falling to the ground. He was lying on the field for several minutes and at first appeared weak and motionless. Fox broadcasters Troy Aikman and Joe Buck reported that he moved his arms and legs while being watched. However, his arm was shaking as he was taken to the changing room.
The Chargers later announced that Parham was at an area hospital in a stable condition.
Trauma Update: Tight End Donald Parham Jr is currently undergoing examination, imaging and evaluation of his head injury at UCLA Port Medical Center and is in stable condition.

Parham has played all 13 games for the Chargers this season and started nine. He has 20 catches for 190 yards and three touchdowns.
