Trevor Bryan, undefeated for 22 professional matches, claimed the WBA title in early January 2021, after stopping former WBC heavyweight champion Bermane Stiverne in the 11th round.
Speaking to Boxing Social’s Ryan Elliott, Daniel Dubois was hoping to face Bryan next and was confident of victory.
“We live for this. This is what keeps me always in the gym, motivated and focused to get out there and do something. I was quietly excited and confident and ready to start. If the stop is there, I’ll take it but a win by all means necessary. “
