When avoid introduce Daytona Banshee concept charger back in August 2022, it showed the world what an electric muscle car could look like. For the most part – and especially from the outside – it looks pretty much a standard MOPAR muscle car. Damn, it’s even as noisy as a normal muscle car, but it doesn’t hit that mark like traditional muscle cars.
Instead, Idea Changer Daytona Banshee (you at Dodge have to work with a shorter name) used a “Exhaust pipe with Fratzonic compartmentt” system to pump auditory blood. It’s basically a super fancy speaker system that uses a whole bunch of magic to make the car sound great, but not everyone agrees that Dodge was successful.
Now, we’re getting another look (or sound, I guess) of a slightly updated version of Daytona Banshee concept charger‘s (guys, I mean – come up with a better name) exhaust system. Whether Whether it sounds better or not is entirely up to you, but one thing’s for sure: It’s loud. In fact, it’s as loud as a Hellcat’s exhaust, at 126 decibels.
In a very pleased video posted by YouTube channel InternetUnetAutomotive, we can see the Daytona Banshee Charger concept (for the love of God, next time I write about this I better give it a shorter name) spinning its “engine”, idling and even even drive slowly around a very large room. Sure, its concrete surroundings helped support how loud this thing is, but even so, it’s likely to pack a pretty big punch.
