After a 10-year hiatus in fleet expansion, Disney Cruise Line has been busy in recent years.
Disney’s Wish joins the cruise line in the summer of 2022, ushering in a whole new class of three Triton-class ships that will initially join Disney magic, Disney Wonders, Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy.
Next up is Disney Treasure, which will be the second of a trio of Triton-class ships to arrive at Disney Cruise Line in 2024. Here’s everything we know so far about Disney Treasure.

What we know about the Disney Treasure cruise ship
Disney Treasure will share much of its footprint and layout with Disney Wish. However, it will have a different look, it seems that the “fairy tale” is less bright and airy than what we have seen on Wish and is more “adventurous mystery”.
Based on the builds, Disney Treasure will feature a Great Hall leaning against a dark blue, turquoise, and gold arch, with a design inspired by gilded palaces from as far away as Asia and Africa — including the fictional city of Agrabah in the Disney animated film Aladdin.
Fittingly, the statue in the Great Hall will feature Jasmine, Aladdin, and the Magic Carpet ready to go on an adventure, which is the theme of this next ship.
Captain Minnie will also wear one special adventure search outfit while on board the Disney Treasure.

When will Disney Treasure set sail?
Naturally, Disney yacht fans want to know when Disney Treasure will set sail so they can plan their vacation.
All the company has said publicly about when Disney Treasure will begin operations is that it is scheduled for 2024. However, we do have some clues that allow us to deduce when the ship will be. may be ready.
In late March 2023, a ceremonial coin was placed under the keel, in keeping with maritime tradition, when the ship reached this shipbuilding milestone at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Germany. Engraved on the coin is Captain Minnie in her new travel suit.

What’s particularly interesting about this moment is the clue it gives about where the ship is under construction.
The live booking for Disney Wish takes place in April 2021, about 14 months before the ship first arrives in Florida from Germany and 15 months before it begins carrying paying passengers.
While construction schedules can vary between ships, if that schedule repeats, Disney Treasure will be ready for passengers by the summer of 2024.
We already know that Disney’s second island in the Bahamas, Lighthouse Pointscheduled to launch in June 2024. With Castaway Cay and Lighthouse Point, the number of Disney-operated destinations in the Bahamas will double for ships like the Wish, Treasure and others to dock for a day. having fun under the upcoming summer sun.
Even if Disney Treasure’s timeline is slightly different from Disney Wish, the ceremony still shows that Disney Treasure is on its way to joining the fleet next year.

Since 2012, Disney Cruise Line has operated a fleet of four ships, but 2022 marks the beginning of a period of rapid growth for the service. It welcomes Disney Wish in 2022 and will launch Disney Treasure in 2024 and a third Triton-class ship in 2025.
Disney also made a surprise purchase of one of the largest cruise ships in the world, joining the fleet and operations outside Singapore commencing in 2025.
Cruise lines also added a the new top tier, Pearl, in the Castaway Club elite status program to mark the 25th anniversary of Disney’s yachting operations.
