Disney Dreamlight ValleyFirst major of content update is live today. Gameloft has advised that the update should be available for download at 9am ET / 2pm BST / 10pm AETalthough it did warn that “some platforms may take longer to roll out the update.”
However, that hasn’t stopped the company from sharing patch notes for Scar’s Kingdom, the first major content update for the Early Access sim. Recommended by Gameloft update the game before attempting to play it offline, and save as soon as you log in.
This update not only brings Lion KingScar of the game. Performance fixes for the Switch and PS4 versions are coming, many new items are being introduced, and many Disney characters have redecorated their homes!

Scar’s Kingdom Update, October 19, 2022
TOP FIXERS
– Improved stability and performance on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch
– Improved the granting of Founders Pack items in player mailboxes. This should help resolve some of the problems that persist. The team will continue to investigate additional fixes if any players continue to have problems
– Improved Cloud Save system. In the event of a Cloud Save conflict, players will now be prompted by an in-game pop-up to select the save file they want to sync. Screenshots are included later in these patch notes
– Reduce the intensity of lightning storms
– Fixed an issue that prevented players from picking up light bulbs in WALL · E’s house
– Stone Soup is now recognized as cooked for players stuck in the quest “The Spirits of Nature”
– Fixed memory shards spawning in counters in Scrooge’s Store
– Wild plants (mushrooms, spices, etc.) will now respawn in a different place every morning. This means that plants that spawn in inaccessible areas will be inaccessible and will spawn in a new location every day.
– Rain will now water the plants properly
– Improved the area where the ‘Place of Honor’ registers in the quest “The Ceremony”

– Underwater characters will now be able to swim behind Skull Rock instead of having to go inland to get from one side of the beach to the other
– Fixed a spike that occurred when it started to rain
– Balanced wood spawn in different biomes to get more woods easily
– Inventory will now remain open while opening item bags and textures
– Improved clarity for which Kingdoms are unlocked and which Kingdoms still need to be unlocked in the castle

Maui

– Minnie has an extra flower pot in her house waiting to be picked up for players stuck in the “Language of Flowers” quest
