The next step in Digimon The franchise was just announced at Digicon 2023. The online event saw the launch of Digimon Seeker, a new project. It will also celebrate the franchise’s 25th anniversary.[Thanks, Dengeki Hobby!]
Bandai also shared the project’s key visual poster art and a live-action trailer.

The Digimon Seeker project will revolve around a novel, published weekly. It starts on April 3, 2023. It will be available in English, Chinese and Japanese. The Japanese version of the novel will be read by voice actor Miyuki Sawashiro, who voiced Mirei Mikagura in Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuthand Gammamon in Digimon Ghost game.
Digimon Seeker set in Digimon the past of the world, at the “dawn of digital world research”. At that time, even the existence of Digimon itself was not widely spread, but to human society, AI life forms were considered “both a blessing and a curse”.
The main character is Eiji Nagasumi, a 19-year-old cracker who makes a living by doing shady jobs in the digital world. Eiji is given the Digimon Linker, a new model of the Digimon dock, and is given guardianship of Loogamon, a wolf-like Digimon with a mysterious interface on his head. The Linker and Loogamon prove to be able to change Eiji’s life. As he gets drawn deeper into the digital world, he joins key players in its power, such as the cracker-hating hacker Judge, the cybercrime division Digipolice, and the Sons of Chaos, a “group” extreme” cracking.
Bandai will also sell some new items related to Digimon Seeker. The new version of the Virtual Pet Vital BE Bracelet will be sold via Premium Bandai in Japan. The Vital Bracelet BE looks like the Digimon Linker given to Eiji in the story. The seeker The set will include both a bracelet and a DIM card containing Loogamon, although the system is compatible with other Vital Bracelet BE DIM cards.
