Depp v Heard: Kate Moss says actress ‘never pushed me, kicked me or threw me down any stairs’ | News about Ant-Man & Art

Kate Moss has said that Johnny Depp “never” pushed her down any stairs, in contrast to rumors discussed by Amber Heard during her US criminal trial.

The British supermodel said the actor she was in love with from 1994 to 1998, didn’t “push, kick or throw me” down the stairs when they were together.

She appeared by videolink in Fairfax County Court, Virginia, on Wednesday to give evidence that lasted less than two minutes.

She was called by Deppher legal team, who appeared to celebrate when her name was mentioned by Heard in her testimony last week.

The actress described hearing rumors that Depp pushed Moss down the plane stairs.

Speaking from Gloucestershire, Moss said the allegation of the incident at the GoldenEye resort in Jamaica was untrue.

“We were leaving the room and Johnny had already left the room before I did and it had been raining,” she said.

“When I was leaving the room, I slipped down the stairs and I had a backache and I was screaming because I didn’t know what had happened to me.

“(Depp) ran over to me and carried me to my room and gave me medical care.”

Depp’s attorney, Benjamin Chew, asked Moss if the Hollywood star had ever pushed her down the stairs.

“No, he never pushed me, kicked me or threw me down any stairs,” she replied.

Depp was called to give evidence again after Moss.

He was asked about the former couple’s honeymoon in August 2015, after which Heard accused Depp of violence during the trip.

Depp said there was a time when the journey on the Orient Express from Thailand to Singapore was “pleasant”.

But he said there were other times she would “start the conversation”.

“At one point… I don’t remember how long it lasted… I took quite a shot in the face, in the eyes…so I got a little bit of a shine,” he told the court. “It was all over and then everything was fine again.”

He said he doesn’t recall whether Heard apologized.

Depp is suing Heard over a 2018 article she wrote in the Washington Post, which his attorney says falsely implies that he physically and sexually abused her while they were together.

He has denied all charges.
