Radio Sydney 2GB reported a hilarious request from a group of Electric Vehicle owners for neighbors to allocate their electricity usage so their electric vehicles can charge.

My guess is that EV owners invested in fast chargers, only to find out that the local grid was maxed out, leading to a shortage of backup power for their expensive signaling props. surname.

From the text, it appears that no one other than EV owners were invited to the meeting that produced this announcement. Perhaps they see themselves as green ethical operators on their streets.
