Over the years, the Freedman Family have made their own Neds Blue Diamond Stakes (G1) numerous times, and on February 26 Anthony and Sam Freedman entered the record books again as Godolphin raced. Daumier continuation Artorius‘win in last year’s edition to give the training partnership consecutive wins in Victoria’s premier junior race at Caulfield Racecourse, while the win added to the victory of Godolphin Lyretrained by Anthony, in 2019.

The son of Epaulette Survive a late challenge from Miss Revolution to score a short first half victory with Jacquinot, a $4.40 favorite, a third away. Freedman said they’ve always had a big opinion of the pony and are confident the 1200 meter ride will bring out the best for the 2-year-old.
“The preview (when he ran third) was a look and see,” he said. a good look at about late.
