A child injured Sunday when an SUV plowed through crowds at a Christmas parade in Waukesha, Wis., died, bringing the death toll from the attack to six.
Prosecutors in Wisconsin made the announcement Tuesday as they outlined charges against the suspect in the assault, Darrell Brooks, Jr.
Brooks, 39, was charged with five counts of willful first-degree murder. He faces the possibility of additional charges of first-degree murder for the child’s death.
