Why? On the one hand it’s a gripping saga, following the decline and fall of a white South African household over 4 a long time. It’s full of incident – intercourse, medication, shootings – and there may be drama, discord and demise. However there may be additionally loads of sudden comedy to lighten the temper. It made me chuckle.
