Cybertruck bogged down? Ford, Jeep come to the rescue

A Texas driver came across a Tesla e-car stuck in the mud next to a Jeep Wrangler and Ford Super Duty.

Post videos on TwitterStephanie Fischer said she was driving on a country road in Texas when she noticed a sizable ute overturned in the mud.

The video – though very shaky – shows the truck lying on the side of the road, slightly submerged in mud with several people standing nearby.

Skeptic Tesla enthusiasts questioned the video, however, Ms Fischer later posted photos showing the muddy roadside road filled with tire marks and puddles.

It is not clear how the vehicle got out of the puddle. Traditionally, Tesla CEO Elon Musk has yet to comment on the post.

Multiple Cybertruck prototypes have been tracked before production begins later this year, with the company saying the first deliveries of the electric ute are scheduled for the third quarter of 2023.

Before scrapping online specs for its Cybertruck in 2021, Tesla said the upcoming electric ute will be offered in both single-engine rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive variants. two motors and three engines.

The three-engine AWD option is touted to have a range of 800 km, a towing capacity of 6400 kg and a claimed 0-60 mph (96.6 km/h) speed of 2.9 seconds.

According to reports, the Cybertruck will weigh between 5000-6000 pounds (2.2 tons – 2.7 tons). For context, the Ram 3500 Laramie weighs just over 3.5 tons.
