A new trailer for Cyberpunk 2077: The Ghost of Freedom The DLC debuted at the 2022 Game Awards and showcased more of the game’s first major expansion. The trailer hints at new playable areas, a new story, and a new cast, including one played by acclaimed actor Idris Elba. The expansion will launch on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X (but not on previous-gen consoles).

The Cyberpunk 2077: The Ghost of Freedom The DLC appears to take place outside of the Night City, the setting of the base game. Footage emerges of a crashed plane resembling the futuristic Air Force One V, the player character and Johnny Silverhand, conversing with a character from the New United States of America (NUSA), a proposer to contact a Solomon Reed. Reed, played by Idris Elba, is an agent of the Federal Intelligence Service (FIA). Reed recommends burning “Dogtown” to ashes, as a means of escaping whatever crisis V has fallen into. The previous teaser showed V oath of allegiance to NUSA.
in the world of Science Fiction, the “old” America collapsed, with many states seceding to become self-governing or semi-autonomous. California, where Night City’s core setting is located, has split into two states. The NUSA government was re-established by the super corporation Militech and attempted forcible reintegration of the seceded states during a war 8 years ago. Electronic 2077. Night City, located in Northern California, remains independent in part thanks to the support of rival super-company Arasaka. Southern California has been reintegrated into NUSA.
Electronic 2077 available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. The ghost of freedom The expansion comes out on PS5, Xbox Series X and PC in 2023. CD Projekt Red is also working on a sequel to 2077, codenamed “Project Orion”.
