Crisis Core FFVII Includes Final Fantasy X Blitzball Easter Egg
Square Enix recently shared new information about a Final Fantasy X Blitzball Easter eggs included in Crisis Core: Reunion of FFVII and its initial release. It involves many Gun Bull Head robot enemies in Crisis core: FFVII named after Final Fantasy X blitzball player. These enemies can be found in the sniper minigame in Chapter 9.
Original Japanese tweet shared by FFVII remake Twitter account read as follows:
“I’m sure many of you have already recognized the name of Gun Bull Heads in the sniper section of the Nibel Plains.
Some of them are named after Blitzball players in FFX!
Today (July 19) is the day #FF10 was released in 2001!

The sniper minigame takes place in Chapter 9 on the Nibel Plains, and immediately follows the Nibelheim escape portion of the game. In it, Zack must defeat several Gun Bull Head robots before they run away and alert the Shinra army. While the tweet shares the Japanese name of Gun Bull Heads, the localized English names of the robots coincide with the names of Blitzball players in the game. FFX.
