The new, original TV series, which premiered in Kenya for the first time, is adding to a growing list of African dynamic content. Past and present conflict in the story David vs. This goliath when a mining company threatens to destroy the country home of AKISA MUTUNGA, an aspiring events planner who is pitted against a deadly businesswoman whose husband she is entangled in . Akisa finds herself in the midst of a love triangle, as she struggles to regain her place in life by finding her true love and her lost son.
Issues of expropriation and land exploitation form the tapestry in which the personal lives and relationships of the main characters in Country Queen are fractured. The battle for land becomes a battle for redemption and truth. The characters must face the consequences of their own choices. The fictional story contains elements of truth that speak to a wide range of issues such as family disputes, ownership and land exploitation that affect millions of people in Africa and around the world.
