Who would you like to see Yarde and Beterbiev fight next?

The obvious answer would be Beterbiev vs Dmitry Bivol for the undisputed title. It was clearly a big fight. But, selfishly, from the British point of view, I’d expect Beterbiev to take on Callum Smith, who is looking dire in the light-heavyweight division. I’d love to see Yarde fight Joshua Buatsi next. Yarde shares rallied after the weekend’s setback and I think that’s the next fight.

The obvious fight for Yarde will be Joshua Buatsi. It’s going to be a big fight in England and a great one too. As for Beterbiev, I would love to see him go up against Bivol, just for the fact that both have been champions in that division for several years now and this year’s boxing is really needed. The best must start fighting the best.

Yarde in a UK-wide clash with either Joshua Buatsi or Callum Smith. I would also like to see Betterbiev fight Bivol to unify the belts. Then the winner of match one plays against the winner of match two. It would be great to have a light-heavyweight tournament “Super Six” with these men participating.

I want to see Beterbiev face Bivol in the light-heavyweight title fight. They are both great fighters and both undefeated: one has strength and the other has superhuman boxing skills. I think I let Beterbiev win that fight even though before his game against Yarde I picked Bivol. I also want Yarde and Callum Smith to fight in an all-English classic. I think it’s going to be a big clash of styles, with Yarde giving it to Smith. It’s hard to pick a winner out of it.
