It’s hard to protest my fight with Leigh Wood. It has everything you look for in an instant classic. I suppose that fight made boxing what it is: anything is possible.

I will have to choose the fight between Leigh Wood and Michael Conlan. It was pure excitement. The crowd stood firm from the first round. Both boxers show great spirit in a back-and-forth fight and that’s what boxing is all about. Wood came back impressively from his first round knockdown. He looked like he lost just to show the level of champions in front of his home crowd and ended it with an emotional knockout in the final round.

The most interesting fight for me was easily Leigh Wood vs Michael Conlan. Absolute excitement and quality from start to finish by both boxers. It was the best match I’ve ever watched live and it’s also my personal favorite as I watched my old roommate Leigh retain her title.

It should be the “Battle of the Year” between Michael Conlan and Leigh Wood. Conlan is at the peak of his career and Leigh Wood has shown incredible heart. The knockout is everything: sensational, morbid, weird. That’s why we love ours!
