Core Keeper’s Sunken Sea biome update adds boats and teleporters

The first major content update is coming in June

Core holder, an underground survival game with solo and co-op gameplay, can use more content – much more. I say it as someone who has been passionate about setting up this cave carving, base building, exploratory mind for dozens of hours, until I get to the point where I feel really exploited. . I want a reason to play more and developer Pugstorm there will be one in june – when is that? Core holder get Sunken Sea biome updates.

A big part of the game’s initial appeal is Find your place in this underworld, so there’s a distinct new area with “big waters and islands” that sounds appealing. To make these trips a little smoother, there will be boats. Players will not need to place winding bridges to go to the island. (Though you can still build them the hard way.)

In addition to biomes, Core holderThe Sunken Sea update also has “more stuff,” in the sense of a classic Steam Early Access game. Pugstorm posted an overview image.

What’s new with the Sunken Sea update

Core Keeper Sunken Sea update roadmap
The Sunken Sea update has a little bit of everything.

The absence of enemy types stands out in my time with Core holder, and it’ll be fun to track down – and try to kill – another terrifying Titan boss. Having more crops and recipes will help encourage the farming aspect of the game, especially with the sprinklers in the mix. As such, my food supply is on autopilot, and any kind of shake helps.

In the quality of life category, I’m most excited about the map markers and displacement tools.

Even with an extensive rail network, long-distance trips, like to the Wilderness of Azeos, can really add up. I also think every game with a map can benefit from some form of marking, especially a survival crafting game like Core holderit’s all about filling in the map – finding out the location every biome living in general – through discovery.

All in all, this update is what I have in mind for the future of Core holder. It’s a fun game; it just needs more. If Pugstorm continues, I hope to release the full 1.0 version.

Multiplayer is one of the main attractions right now.

Dedicated server is now an option

The Sunken Sea update is set for June, but first, a note on dedicated servers.

From this moment onthe player will have the option of operating their own dedicated server for the multiplayer world can be accessed at any time without requiring an in-game host. If a dedicated server isn’t your thing, you’ll be happy to know that still have player-hosted multiplayer in the game at any time, and this now use Steam’s network end when connecting players – solves many network issues reported by users. We’ve also added a new admin function that will give players the option to get people off their worlds on both dedicated servers and player-hosted games.

If you want to host your own dedicated server, you can do so using Core holderyour own dedicated server hosting application, which will be available to run from the Tools menu in your Steam Library. ”

I haven’t dipped in yet Core holder co-op yet, but multiplayer is one main selling point for the so-called “top down” Terraria” go through. Options are appreciated.
