A special Golf R Black Edition also joins the lineup for 2025. It features black wheels, dark badging, black headlights, brake calipers and exhaust tips.
The interior gets a light upgrade, mostly in the form of hardware and software updates to the infotainment system. There’s GPT Chat integration, for some reason, and a new menu layout. There’s also a GPS timer and a G-meter.
