Mayer continued her hot shot from downtown, burying another 3-pointer to reclaim the lead for Illinois.
Illini took a 20-16 lead after halftime in a game marked by poor defense or shooting, depending on how you look at it. The Badgers shot 6 to 33 from the field in the first half (18%), while Illinois was 9 to 27 (33%).

RJ Melendez finished everything in this play, and his rim shaker started the 20-11 run to push Illinois to the top.

Prepare the stage for Caitlin Clark performance
Hawk Eye superstar and American unanimously Caitlin Clark is a TV show not to be missed. Clark continued his easy shooting performance on the way to a 33-point win. She added 12 goals and 9 assists in the big game win.
