Stuart Crawford has long been a notable name in the northern National Hunt cards. He’s 11/41 at Carlisle in the most recent five seasons overall, but 6/18 games have runner-up hurdles. Crawford sends in a single runner for a Sunday pass, a hurdler for double the price.

A good hurdler beginner for Denise Foster, his new pitch has lifted him from two miles to three for this next mission. There’s been little encouragement from his return but the fact that his pitch carries him to the right makes for an interesting move given their record and he’s traveling solo.
Having been over two and a half years in the past, this is where he has come further in his career. As for the pedigree, it’s unlikely to be relevant but he continued to head while behind Cape Gentleman on that ride and that horse ran to RPR 152 over the fence so Crawford is more likely to be responsible. from this mark if his stamina holds.
