Chuck Nicklin, Diving Pioneer, Dies at 95

Chuck Nicklin, diving pioneer and member of the International Diving Hall of Fame, has passed away. He was 95 years old.
Mr. Nicklin’s presence in the diving community spans decades and discipline in the underwater field. In the field of underwater cinematography, he is perhaps best known for contributing to many James Bond films, as well as Abyss and Abyss. The California native also co-founded several iconic organizations including San Diego Underwater Photography Association and Undersea Film Exhibition San Diego.
