Over 15 years ago, that game company established a long-term partnership with PlayStation. Each of our games like fl0w, Flower and Journey test how interactive games can communicate on an emotional level. We’re humbled by Journey’s Game of the Year recognition and the accolades these games receive, but perhaps what resonates most are the personal stories players have sent us. from all over the world. How our game sharing world has impacted their lives. Those stories make us question how we can all experience better compassion through play. It motivated us to go further and develop Sky, a spiritual successor to Journey, which creates a place for people from all walks of life to share emotional connections and meaningful moments with their loved ones.
We are very proud of the vibrant global community that has flourished in Sky, and our players constantly amaze and inspire us! One of our community members, SADist, created a cartoon that captures the heart of what Sky players see and feel. We made the trailer above based on that animation in turn, and we hope it faithfully reproduces what all of us—players and developers alike—saw and felt in Sky.

Embark on a musical journey in the Season of AURORA Concert
Music is woven through Sky, guiding and accompanying the player through light and darkness. It’s always been a big part of the game, but now after 18 months of developing and refining our proprietary game engine, we’re ready to deliver a new way for music to take players of the game. We’re into something more intense and powerful than what’s been done before in games:
On December 8 at 8:30 p.m. Pacific time, we’ll be launching a collaboration concert with Norwegian musical artist AURORA! We’re opening the world’s largest concert venue on this occasion so millions of players can join this musical journey, and we’ve got a place for everyone.
If you’ve played Sky before, you’ve heard AURORA’s voice on our original soundtrack. She is also best known internationally for the hits “Runaway,” “Cure for Me,” “Running with the Wolves,” and her ethereal vocals in frozen II“Go into the unknown.”
Starting December 8, her music invites you to transform within Sky itself. Connect with countless passionate players from around the world and with AURORA as she performs songs including “Exhale Inhale,” “Runaway,” “Warrior” and more to take you on a journey. far beyond any other concert experience in a game.
The concert experience isn’t limited to the permanent list either—the venue also has plenty to do before and after the show. Learn songs using the in-game instruments (all skill levels recommended!), meet some friendly creatures offering to take you on tour, and find a room with a sonic bath vase, where AURORA itself will guide you through relaxation and recovery.
Everyone is welcome! No tickets, purchases, or even minimal game progress required.

To celebrate this new launch, a special themed Journey Pack will be made available for purchase to those who join us on PlayStation.
