We’ve had a few months to digest what we know about form, price and packaging. Chevrolet Trax 2024, and we’re still amazed at it. We already know the MSRP, all for under $25,000. What we didn’t notice in our previous article is completely new, bigger, better trax coming in for significantly less money than the upcoming Trax. The Trax LS 2024 will cost $21,495 upon arrival, $1,400 less than the 2022 Trax LS still on sale. The Trax LT 2024 with front-wheel drive (only available on the new model) will cost $23,395, $1,300 less than the current model. The last time these cars had a similar MSRP was in 2016, when the base Trax was priced at $21,895 upon arrival.
The top 2RS and Activ models both start at $24,995.
GM agency exploit its source and has returned with pricing for the frilly Trax beyond the MSRP. Base LS comes standard with cruise control, LED headlights with automatic high beam, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, active noise cancellation, alloy wheels, automatic emergency brake with pedestrian detection and lane keeping assist. The $995 LS Utility Package adds heated driver and front passenger seats, heated and power-adjustable side mirrors with body-color caps, remote start, and rear mats floor matsand 17-inch silver-painted aluminum alloy wheels.
On the LT trim, the $595 Utility package upgrades the heated driver and front passenger seats, a heated and leather-wrapped steering wheel, and heated and keyless power-adjustable rearview mirrors.
There’s also a Driver Confidence package that costs $250 for the 1LS and 1 RS, and $650 for the 1LT, 2RS, and Activ. Because the 1LT version also requires the LT Add-ons pack for this, the Confident Pack costs $1,245 for that instance. It combines lane change warning with side blind zone assist and rear cross traffic alert for all versions, and adds adaptive cruise control to the 1LT, 2RS and Activ.
The Sunroof Package does the obvious for $795 or $895 depending on the version.
