Nintendo announced character from Fire Symbol: Sacred Stones will appear in Fire icon hero, including a version of Joshua’s Ascension. In addition, there will be a new chapter in which Joshua and Veronica ascend to heaven. Players will be able to get Fire Symbol: Sacred Stones character in Fire icon hero starting January 6, 2021.
Other characters will appear with Joshua ascension in Fire icon hero are Neimi, Rennac and Colm. Neimi will arrive as a red bow infantry unit. Her unique skill grants herself and her allies extra speed when certain conditions are met. Rennac will appear as an infantry unit wielding a green dagger. His special ability will allow Rennac to increase attack speed and damage. However, this effect is conditional. Colm will join the list of Fire icon hero as a green dagger infantry unit. His special ability for Special cooldown. Finally, Ascended Joshua will appear as an infantry unit wielding colorless daggers. Ascension Joshua’s special skill increases his Special’s activation speed, reducing its cooldown by 1. Like Rennac, certain effects on this skill are conditional.

To celebrate the new year, a special banner is available in Fire Emblem Heroes. Until January 31, 2021, players can get special New Year Variations by Reginn, Fafnir, Dagr and Nott.
