For flights to Taipei and Bangkok, we found that the weeks between January 29 and February 5 have the lowest fares.
These cheap Cathay Pacific fares are for economy class.
For example, the Cathay Pacific Light option offers the lowest possible fare for a January 31 trip to Taipei. Light fares do not include seat selection and there are additional fees if you decide to change your ticket. In addition, the fare allows you to bring one hand baggage and one checked baggage.
As for seat selection, a standard seat can cost between $12 and $45. Standard seats are more expensive flying from Los Angeles to Hong Kong and cheaper from Hong Kong to Taipei.
You can also choose to purchase a chair with extra legroom, which can range from $45 to $195. The more expensive seats are also reserved for flights between Los Angeles and Hong Kong.
