Capybara Spa is a lovely new simulation game from Cozy Bee Games
It’s relaxing time
I’m always looking for relaxing new indie games. I can only spend so many hours Stardew Valley, after all, and it’s good to play something new every once in a while. Every once in a while, a game will come my way that I absolutely want to grab the chance to give it a try, and that’s certainly the case with the latest game from Cozy bee game, Capybara Spa.
Described on its Steam page as a point and click simulation game, Capybara Spa allows the player to take on the role of, well, whatever you would call a spa operator for capybaras. The game includes activities like decorating the garden to your liking, growing fruit, making soap, cleaning towels, and of course, taking care of your capybara patrons.
Personally, I think capybaras are perfect for a relaxing game, given how cold they are. They are actually the largest rodent on the planet, and also one of the cutest animals, in my very humble opinion. I also have no doubt that this game was inspired by a viral video of a capybara in a spa bath with the orange on his head. If you know, you know (and if you don’t, you should absolutely watch that video because it’s a healing experience, as I doubt playing this game will be either).
Capybara Spa officially released on Steam on March 14th and is also available for purchase in a bundle with a few other Cozy Bee games, Lemon cake and Bunny Park.
If you’re looking for a lovely shuttle service, this sounds like what you’re looking for. Need more convincing? The reviews on this game’s Steam page say it all. Mystica user said that “Elden Ring maybe kiss GOTY goodbye,” and the aptly named capybara game says, “Pros: CAPYBARAS, cons: NO. “I think that really says it all.
