Can we decipher alien physics? (Video)


We are scanning our night sky in the hope of finding intelligent life forms live far away. There’s a chance we’ll find them – the only problem is that no one can tell even how long it will take to make this first discovery. Or maybe we’ve detected alien signals, just no clue as to what we’re watching?

That’s really a very serious question about technology: are we capable of deciphering information that we can detect with space observation antenna? And if we happen to recognize data transmitted by a high-level cosmic civilization, can we realize the same logic and the same scientific concepts that we use here on Earth? ?

If we look at this question objectively, all physics must be the same, because we and aliens (possibly all of them) live in the same universe, and the laws of nature must be the same. The same course will apply to all of us. And this is the truth. However, do they use the same scientific rules and conventions to write the laws of physics on paper? Most likely, no.
