He’s got the classic Fury style – but he hangs too low.
Next Sunday, the world will know what kind of fighter Tommy Fury is – or at least whether he’s good enough to beat a boxer. much more talented than what people give him Jake Paul. While Paul initially claimed to be famous as a social media influencer, this guy got off to a good start as a boxer. He works hard, he hits hard and he’s not without real skill.
On the other hand, Fury’s claim to fame is the younger brother of heavyweight king Tyson Fury. Sure, the younger Fury has appeared on a TV show, but the only reason this man has made a fortune fighting Paul this weekend in Saudi Arabia is because of his brother. who is his. And that, honestly, doesn’t matter… as long as the younger Fury brings it. One of the reasons Paul was so successful in his short 6-0 playing career was because he was so much fun to watch. He may not be the best boxer in the world, but Paul’s fights are action packed. The guy, to put it simply, wants to turn off his opponent’s lights if he can. He wants to please the fans.
Also, unlike other big-name fighters – and like it or not, he’s a big-name fighter now – Paul really fights regularly. Moreover, he is always challenging himself. What other popular fighter can be said at the moment? Canelo Alvarez, who else? In fact, Paul seized the opportunity. And now the question is whether Fury 8-0 will do the same. If he wants to be seen as more than Tyson’s little brother, he’ll definitely give his best when the opening bell rings Sunday in Saudi Arabia.
Looking at this war in a purely strategic sense, it seems that two things are more important of all. First – Paul’s strength. Will Fury be able to take it? He exposes himself so surely Paul can end the festival early if he lands clean enough. Second – Fury’s body attack. Everyone can roll their eyes as they like, but Fury has the trait of a body bandit. He does well in the midfield and has enough power to put a man on the mat. Paul has shown that he may be running low on gas while the game is on. If he couldn’t take Fury down, Paul would run the risk of round after round with effective shots at him. That would really take some guts to endure.
