Glenn and Becky Brok are closing their Diamond B Ranch in Pennsylvania, which they built from scratch in 2003, and are leaving more than 20 years of dedication to advancing the Purebred business in Keystone State.
Brok told BloodHorse: “It’s been a long, wonderful time, but both of my daughters have moved to Kentucky. “We’re going to sell the property and move to a smaller, 22-acre farm near Georgetown. It’s been hard for us to get help and I have a day with Brookledge. It’s about time. Slow down and enjoy life.”
A veteran of the United States Army, Brok entered the thoroughbred bike business at Liberty Bell racecourse in 1969. For many years he worked as a launch assistant, campaigning gymnast and racing dealer on the East Coast. Becky Brok has a background as showhorses and also galloping racehorses.
Brok said he was 25 years old when they purchased the 100-acre property near Mohrsville, Pa., that became Diamond B Ranch. Gary Broad’s Walmac Farm announced on January 26 it will stand in Eastwood this year. The son of Sightstown owned by Louise and Kiki Courtelis’ Town & Country Farms and will cost $2,500. Walmac also stands Core beliefs Quality Road 1st, 2nd place winner, who was campaigned by Broad.

Diamond B was named the state’s top breeder in 2017 and ranked second among the state’s top breeders in 2018-20.
